Building the Monome was one of the most exciting projects in electronics to take on. Just knowing it’s potential and capabilities, even before it was finished, was enough motivation to pull all nighters to get it done. It’s hard to explain in words exactly what it does since it can do so much. Please, after viewing the build process, see the the Audibles & Visuals section of the site to see it running. The case was all hand built using a stamped aluminum face plate with mitered cherry wood sides and back.
